OUR BUSINESS
The purpose of our business is inclusivity. There isn't just one universal hair colour for black women. Some women are born with black hair, some with brown hair and like Amoke Ade herself, some with red hair. Amoke Ade Hair aims to provide quality hair extensions in a variety of colours and textures. We hope to promote the beauty of every black woman's natural hair colour and to have quality hair extensions available that match. Amoke Ade herself has had difficulty finding quality hair extensions that match her auburn hair colour. That, in essence, is the reason she gets up to do what she does every day; because she understands the frustration first hand.
THE FACE BEHIND THE BRAND
Amoke Ade is a young entrepreneur who is passionate and driven. In 2019, she graduated with a bachelor of management and organizational studies, specialising in finance, from the University of Western Ontario. After successfully receiving her Canadian Securities Certificate, she left her home in Toronto, Canada and is currently living in the United Kingdom to further her education in pursuit of a law degree. She is the youngest of three children raised by her father and mother. She has an amazing brother in law, a niece and a nephew. Family is extremely important to her.
